Australia’s Angus Gardner takes over the decisive collision between Ireland and France on the previous weekend of the six nations.
The 39-year-old officer took over the tournament as an assistant in England in 2015 at the World Cup in autumn 2023 before he was in the referee panel in England four years later.
He was selected to monitor the semi -finals between New Zealand and Argentina in the Stade de France.
Gardner was born in Sydney at the age of 15.
He gave his great rugby debut in 2012 and led an encounter between the Melbourne Rebels and Queensland Reds.
At that time he had already made an international debut -in November 2011 Gardner took over the Oceania Cup match between Papua -Neuguinea and Vanuatu in Port Moresby.
An Tier One DeBüt followed five years later and put Gardner on a path to referee games at the 2019 World Cup.
