Chappell Roan is busy during the Paris fashion week. After making a debut in Rabanne’s show on Thursday, the up-and-coming pop star quickly exchanged her metallic satin set and dragged queen-inspired make-up against a famous dress and a more dramatic beauty look before arriving on Rick Owens’ autumn 2025 runway.
Roan was designed by Genesis Webb and was wearing Owens’ popular plug-Gunmetal dress, which offers a shoulder-free construction and a straight neckline with a deep, triangular neckline on the bust. The style debut in the Owens’ Spring 2022 Runway Collection. It was worn by Katy Perry, Cardi B, Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian.

Roan added the futuristic-looking dress with a make-up with distinctive black dots, which are arranged in curved patterns over her eyebrows and along her cheeks. With white contact lenses, her eyes showed sharp, extensive black eyeliners with dramatic winged tips that sweep outwards. Andrew Dahling, who has been working with Roan since her ascent to fame, is behind the make -up.
The hairdresser Dom Foretta completed Roans and gave her a voluminous red hair that framed her face.
Roan, who will publish her new single “The Giver” on March 13, spoke about her aesthetic decisions in “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”. “My stylist Genesis Webb and I pull from drag, horror films, burlesque, theater. I love looking pretty and scary,” she said.
Roan spoke to the WWD at the Rabanne autumn 2025 show with the excitement about her first Paris fashion week. “I’ve been on tour for two years, so I can now make the funny pop star -” she said. The singer will probably visit Valentinos autumn 2025 show on Sunday.
Rick Owens’ autumn 2025 collection was inspired by industrial life. “Clothing is more difficult and they are more robust,” the designer told the WWD editor International Miles Socha.
